Meet The humans

Mahan Labradors is a small Labrador retriever breeding program in Northern Kentucky. We strive to breed quality AKC Labrador retrievers. All of our breeding dogs are genetically tested as well as other necessary testing is done.  All of our dogs are raised in our house, and are apart of our family. We are located 30 minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio, and about 90 minutes from Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky.

Hi! I am a stay at home mom of 2 wonderful children and wife to a firefighter, you may notice a theme in our newer dogs names. Being a stay at home mom, I am able to always be around giving them care, love, and attention. From the time they are born, we do stimulation training, and have them handled by myself, my husband and my children. Our puppies are raised with Avi-Dog which starts them off with EIS and ENS training. We get them started on potty-training and we also introduce them to many different textures while they are still young. We introduce them to carpet, hardwood, tile, concrete, grass, dirt, rocks, newspapers, puppy pads, and floor mats. By the time your puppy is ready to go home, he/she is also introduced to small children, cats and other dogs.
